Terms of service

1. The service

WEB DESIGNS LANKA ("we", Reg. No. D 21177) provides Sevo Biz App, a hosted retail management service (point of sale, online shop, inventory, purchasing, accounting, HR and payroll, and insights), to the business that opens an account ("you"). The administrator who signs up confirms they may act for that business.

2. Trial, plans and payment

• New accounts start with a free 14-day trial. No card is needed. To keep using the service after the trial, choose a paid plan.
• Plans, limits and prices are those on the pricing page at the time you subscribe, in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR). Taxes, where they apply, are shown on the invoice.
• Fees are paid in advance for each month or year, by card through our payment gateway PayHere, or by bank transfer against our invoice. A card subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
• If we change a price, the new price applies to your plan only from a renewal after we have told you about it.
• If a payment fails or an invoice is not paid, the account is suspended after a 7-day grace period. Paying the open invoice restores access.

3. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in Settings → Plan & billing or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and no further charges are made. Refunds follow our Refunds & cancellation policy: monthly plans are not refunded for the month already started; yearly plans are refunded pro-rata if cancelled within 30 days of payment; duplicate or wrong charges are refunded in full.

4. Delivery

The service is delivered online. Access starts as soon as the trial starts or the payment is confirmed. Nothing is shipped.

5. Your data

Your business data stays yours. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy and the Data processing agreement. You can export reports and lists from the product, and we send a full copy of your data on request. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your users' sign-in details confidential. After an account is closed, its data is kept for 90 days and then deleted.

6. Acceptable use

You will not use the service unlawfully, try to reach other customers' data, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend an account that puts other customers at risk, with notice where practical.

7. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability and announce planned maintenance in advance. The point of sale keeps working offline during an outage and catches up afterwards. Support is available at support@webdesigns.lk and on WhatsApp +94 77 178 3557, Monday-Saturday, 8:30-18:00 Sri Lanka time.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. As far as the law allows, our total liability for all claims in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail and in the product; the date at the top shows the current version. You may end the agreement by cancelling your plan. We may end it for a serious breach of these terms, after telling you and giving you the chance to put it right where that is possible.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. If you have a complaint, please contact us first; we will try to settle it with you within 30 days. Any dispute that cannot be settled this way will be decided by the courts of Sri Lanka.
